We're starting a brand new year, and people are making resolutions for the things they want to accomplish in 2023. Some probably haven't because resolutions never worked for them before. Whatever way you've chosen, I hope you'll reconsider. Not making the traditional New Year's resolutions, but something hopefully better and more effective — take steps toward the goals you were born to achieve.

In an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy tells her friend Willow that Halloween is the one day when you can be whoever you aren't. But that isn't exactly true. Every day of our lives we play roles to fit in, wearing a different mask for each situation. We are taught from childhood to be what people expect us to be, in some cases demand that we be.

Normally I keep my blogs supportive and inspiring, there's more than enough negativity in the world. But today I want to comment on something that is on everyone’s mind right now. Each of us in entitled to our opinions and this is not to try to change minds, but to bring awareness to consequences that aren’t being talked about.
