Green is the New Pink Project: Popcorn Fair Booth
The next time you get a box of popcorn, hold or go light on the butter and save a couple of boxes. After you finish fountain drinks, pull the straws before you toss the cups. Two boxes, two straws, scissors, a pencil, and tape, and you have the makings of a popcorn booth for your doll's fair. This is a pretty easy and fast craft project to make. Just follow these instructions:
Step 1 - Gather the above materials. Since I don't buy snacks at movies, I found the boxes at Hobby Lobby for a little over $2 with taxes.

Step 2 - Flatten the box. With a pencil and ruler, draw three lines: one at the halfway point, the second above it by the same width as the box bottom, and the third 1/2 inch above the second line with 1/8 inch buffer on either side.

Step 3 - Cut along the sides and the third line. Assemble the box and fold the top 1/2 inch forward to make a tab, then fold the rest into the box. Tape the tab to the back to make a shelf.

Step 4 - Mark the top corners of the box on the uncut side of the box. This is where you will insert the straws.

Step 5 - Cut a hole large enough to insert a straw on each side. Leave loose for adjustment later.

Step 6 - For the booth sign, cut a side panel from the second box. Draw lines to center the image in the same width as the front of the booth. Draw the next lines the same width as the straws next to each side.

Step 7 - Fold back on the four lines and tape the ends to the back. Slide onto the straws with the print side facing front.

Step 8 - Adjust the sign and the straws so that the doll manning your booth has an unobstructed view.

Step 9 - Once they are positioned to your satisfaction, tape the bottom of the straws to the inside of the box.

And here are views of the completed fair booth manned by a standard size Barbie doll.
