My interpretation of Ramonda, the Queen Mother of Wakanda in the movie Black Panther. Printed from the pencil drawing, it is part of a series I am doing of the Women of Wakanda. The basket weave of her crown was the biggest challenge and the most satisfying part of this work as it took shape over many hours. The original drawing is available for sale.
